The Network Monitoring service will monitor the status of your Internet servers.
Set the test type to "HTTP ping" to test the availability of web servers, "SMTP Ping" to test the availablity of mail servers or "ICMP" ping to test the availability of any publicly accessible internet device.
The system will send you an SMS alert if the host becomes unreachable, followed by another SMS when the host comes back on line. For more information on this facility, click here.
